Tomas Rodriguez
My journey began in a developing country where resources were scarce, but my passion for preserving the beauty of wildlife was abundant. I started mounting my first birds, reptiles, and insects at the age of 12. A few years later, I embarked on my taxidermy career, teaching myself through daily practice, anatomy books, and any source of knowledge I could find. Limited by the tools available and with nature as my best teacher, I honed my craft with creativity and an exceptional eye for detail, using traditional techniques and locally sourced materials to transform my passion into art.
My background as a wildlife researcher and taxonomist has given me a profound understanding of animal anatomy and behavior, allowing me to create lifelike and accurate representations of each specimen. Every piece I work on is treated with the utmost care and respect, reflecting the unique spirit of the animal.
Now, having moved to the United States, I’m excited to bring my expertise and dedication to a new audience in New England, a region we fell in love with for its natural beauty and welcoming community.
My goal is to provide you with the highest quality taxidermy services, combining traditional techniques with innovative approaches. Whether it’s a cherished memory or a centerpiece for your collection, I am committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and preserving the natural beauty of wildlife.
